Catherine Skoda Breaks School Record in 50 Free
Catherine Skoda won the 50 free and the 100 back while Kelly deMarrais won the 200 and 100 free to lead Bernards to a second place finish behind a very deep Mount Saint Mary team. The two of them combined with Grace deMarrais and Nori Skoda to take both the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay. Grace also won the 500 free (and placed second in the 200 IM) and Nori finished first in the 100 breast (and placed second in the 100 fly). Holly Shapiro, Emily Anderson, Rachel Quis, and Holly Steiner placed 7th in the 200 free relay. Also scoring points were Rachel Quis (9th in the 100 fly) and Kellyn Hepper (10th in the 100 breast).
For the fourth year in a row, Bernards competed with a one man boys team. John Crerand swam in the 200 free and the 100 free to finish in 11th place overall.
